For day trips you should be equipped with good hiking/tramping boots, a warm jersey/fleece, a rainproof jacket or parka, and a daypack. For additional equipment you should have on multi-day trips, see our gear list. Key items are a light sleeping bag and a backpack. A sleeping pad is often useful. We may be able to assist if you lack these or other items on the list.

Booking details

On receiving the completed booking form, we will contact you to confirm dates and other arrangements.

A non-refundable deposit of 15% is then required to secure your booking. The remainder is payable at least 20 days prior to departure. Payment can be made by credit card, using our secure, on-line booking form. You can also pay by cheque, made payable to 'Bush and Beyond', or by direct online bank payment to Kiwi Bank: Account Name: Bush and Beyond, Account No. 389009 0470106 00. (Please reference your name as the payor.)

All cancellations must be in writing. A full refund, minus 15% deposit, will be paid if the trip is cancelled 7 days or more prior to departure. In the event of extreme weather, Bush & Beyond reserves the right of discretion in cancelling a trip, in the event of which, a full refund will be given.
